From start to finish, your boudoir experience should be amazing. To ensure you have the best experience, it’s important that your boudoir photographer–and their team–listen to your needs and expectations and align with your vision. Choosing the right boudoir photographer is about more than just skills with a camera. It’s about finding people who can help you feel comfortable, confident, safe, empowered and beautiful. 

To get your search started, first, take a look at photographers’ websites in your area–and slightly farther away. It’s generally worth it to travel a bit for the right fit. Check to see that their images are not only of amazing quality, but also resonate with you and what you envision. You can also check if there are client testimonials online (not all websites offer these to protect clients’ privacy, but it’s worth checking with the studio on a consultation call if they can be provided privately on-request). 

Once you have found a studio you think you’d like to work with, schedule a consultation call. On that call you can get to know the photographer (and sometimes key members of the team are also included). You can ask all of your questions and gauge their interest in working with you to make sure your vision is attained.
